On July 10th a community to community forum was held with the intent to collaborate and continue to build bridges between the communities of Kwantlen First Nation and the Township of Langley.

Gordon MacIntosh, who has worked for over 37 years in management, education and consultancy roles within government, facilitated the event.

Participants included Township Mayor and Council along with senior Township staff, as well as senior Kwantlen/Seyem’ staff and Kwantlen Chief and Council.

The event went well, with all parties coming together to find common strategic goals to tackle and developed new takeaways to start the process of collaboration.
